Machine Gun Kelly Claps Back At His Fashion Critics
Machine Gun Kelly recently responded to critics of his fashion choices. The Mainstream Sellout recently wore a silver jacquard Dolce & Gabbana suit, complete with bejeweled full finger rings and matching eyeshadow to the brand’s show at Milan Fashion Week. He had a message for critics who had negative comments about his recent eye-catching look: “You can’t comment about my style,” he tweeted Tuesday (January 17), “if you have none.” The 32-year-old also shared a photo of his original Twitter message to his Instagram, captioning his post, “Keep your insecurities to yourself.”

MGK’s latest message came just one day after he shared photos of his look from the D&G fashion show he attended. Alongside his carousel of Instagram photos posted on Monday, he referred to HBO’s Euphoria captioning: “I call this: if jules from euphoria went to milan.” Critics commented on the post such things as, “Lace up Mgk would have neverrrr worn makeup .. smh i get high fashion but u dont need eyeshadow on mannn.” One user wrote: “please take me out this episode of Euphoria,” while another said, “Nah this ain’t fashion.”

The musician’s style is usually bold and teeters the lines of androgynous or feminine style, usually matching with his fiance of one year, Megan Fox. In late October, MGK wore an ensemble resembling another hit HBO show, Golden Globes-winning series House of the Dragon. Wearing a caged black corset, he captioned the post: “I came for the Targaryen BDSM party.”

It wasn’t until November, however, that folks online were making memes out of MGK’s “sea urchin” look at the American Music Awards. On Instagram, folks commented on the outrageous outfit with comments such as, “Bro you stood up whole time?” and “You really nailed it with this outfit.” One person asked, “what if u tripped.” Another wrote: “This dude literally made fun of Slipknot, but his whole outfit looks like Craig’s mask. Try being original bro.”
