Miley Cyrus’ New Album ‘Endless Summer Vacation’ Coming This March
Miley Cyrus has announced her new album Endless Summer Vacation will arrive on March 10. The singer-songwriter described the album as “her love letter to L.A.” in the announcement. Endless Summer Vacation will be her eighth studio album following 2020’s glam rock album, Plastic Hearts.
News of Miley’s upcoming album came via a teaser trailer. The trailer hints at themes to be found in the forthcoming record. After all, the artist did say “New Year, New Miley” about her upcoming single release “Flowers.” The one-minute video features Cyrus reciting an abstract dialogue over various close-up shots of Los Angeles, featuring dipping her hand in what seems to be a pool, a blurry helicopter in the sky and cell towers disguised as palm trees that are scattered throughout the city.
“Past the manta rays and palm trees, glowing creatures beam down from great heights,” Cyrus’ echoing voice says in the trailer. “Electric eels and red venom. In the sky, we can see the riders on horseback — on comets, coming toward us, kicking up with laughter. My friend, Big Twitch, he rode the boat toward the light, surfed the north break. We danced until there was nothing left. Just me and Twitchy. ‘Cause that’s all we knew.”
“The music and imagery of ‘Endless Summer Vacation’ [serves] as a reflection of the strength she’s found in focusing on both her physical and mental well-being,” reads the official news release. Fans can pre-order multiple configurations now including black vinyl, exclusive red vinyl and an exclusive clear vinyl variant only available on her official website.
