Jack Harlow Announces 2023 Vegas Residency
Kentucky’s very own is coming to Vegas! Jack Harlow announced on his Instagram Story that he will be making his return to Vegas. The “First Class” rapper posted a flyer promoting the residency and wrote, “Back to Vegas” on his Instagram Story per HipHopDX.
The Kentucky-bred rapper will perform at the Vegas nightclub for at least two Saturdays on March 18 and May 27.
“I had a great time performing at Zouk in 2022. The energy was electric and I’m looking forward to returning to Vegas to headline in 2023,” Harlow said in a press release per the outlet. “See y’all there!”
“Jack Harlow has continued to dominate the charts and we are thrilled to have him within the Zouk Group family as we head into 2023,” added Ronn Nicolli, vice president of Zouk Group Las Vegas. “We’ve curated an unparalleled roster of headlining talent and we look forward to continuing to provide an epic experience for guests.”
The rapper has had quite a year as he did double duty for Saturday Night Live, covered the British GQ Men of the Year issue, and earned three nominations for the 2023 Grammy Awards. “First Class” is up for “Best Melodic Rap Performance,” his “Churchill Downs” Drake-assisted track is nominated for “Best Rap Song.” His sophomore album Come Home The Kids Miss You is competing for “Best Rap Album.”
For his GQ cover story, the rapper spoke about being a white rapper in a Black genre.
“I don’t feel like I’m a darling in the journalism space. I feel like everyone in journalism is so sophisticated right now, or journalism is so sophisticated,” he said. “I’m not a niche artist. I’m out here killing s—. And I’m a white artist in a Black genre. Journalists can never show me too much love.”
