Hailey Bieber Says Marriage To Justin Bieber Takes ‘A Lot Of Work’
After being married to Justin Bieber for four years, you would think that any woman would be in pure bliss. Though there are still ups and downs, Hailey Bieber got real about her marriage to the Biebs in an upcoming feature for Harper’s Bazaar.
The 25-year-old model told the publication, “You have to figure out how to deal with this s— as it comes, you know? There’s a reason they say ‘for better or for worse.’ Like, that’s for real!”
Hailey dove into the strain caused by a series of unfortunate health issues that the couple endured this year. In March, Hailey was hospitalized for having stroke-like symptoms caused by a blood clot in her brain. At the time of the “terrifying situation,” a source told People that Justin “can barely sleep. He stays up watching her while she rests.”
In June, the pop star was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused the right side of his face to be paralyzed, forcing him to put his Justice tour on hold as he recovered. Less than two months after taking a break for treatment, Bieber was back to performing again at the Lucca Festival in Italy.
Through it all, Hailey said that Justin is the person she wants to be “rushing back to” at the end of a long day. “I might fly somewhere and go do a job, but I can’t wait to come back and hang out. And I feel like that’s because of the effort that’s been put in on both sides,” she told the magazine. “At the end of the day, like, he’s my best friend, but it still does take a lot of work to make it work. And then I know eventually when kids come in the picture, that’s going to be a whole other season of navigating how to make that work.”
