Scott Disick Is Sad About Losing ‘Best Friend’ Kourtney Kardashian
Scott Disick is wearing his heart on his sleeve in the first episode of The Kardashians, which premiered on April 14 on Hulu. The 38-year-old socialite opened up about his feelings for his ex and mother of his three children, Kourtney Kardashian, and her relationship with her fiancé Travis Barker.
During the episode, Scott told Khloe Kardashian that Kourtney’s relationship with the rockstar drummer has finally allowed him to “be able to move on.”
“I always had her friends or our family in my ear kind of like, ‘Don’t worry, honey, eventually you guys will figure it out,’ and ‘You’ll get back together one day,'” he explains. “So my foot was always halfway in the door.”
In a confessional, Scott, who dated Kourtney on and off for over a decade, shared his honest feelings, saying he has lost the 41-year-old reality star “as a best friend” ever since she’s moved on with Travis, 46. “Now we’re really just more of co-parenters,” he explains. “I would say it’s probably one of the more difficult things in my life.” Scott and Kourtney share three kids together: Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7.
While Scott admits to feeling “left out” of the Kardashian family get-togethers now that Kourtney has moved on, he knows that she’s happy and that her relationship with Travis is the “real thing.”
Even though Scott is still close with the Kardashians, he told Khloe, “Feeling left out and not being told anything is super hurtful. Especially when I don’t have another family to go to.” (Scott is an only child and his mother died in October 2013, losing his father the following January.)
Scott confirmed that he’d rather be surrounded by Kourtney and Travis’ constant PDA than not be included at all.
Kourtney and Travis got engaged last October and have plans to tie the knot soon, following their “fake wedding” in Las Vegas earlier this month. Scott is currently dating 27-year-old model Rebecca Donaldson, whom he brought to the premiere of The Kardashians on April 8.
During the first episode, Scott, 38, also opened up about his past relationships with younger women, saying that he’s looking for someone in their “upper 20s.” He added in a confessional, “But not over 30. Oh f—, whatever, if I love somebody, it doesn’t matter their age.”
