Kanye West Dedicates Sunday Service to Astroworld Victims
Kanye West shared his support for those impacted by the tragedy at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival by dedicating his most recent Sunday Service to the victims.
On Sunday (November 7), the 44-year-old musician held his Sunday Service, dedicating the event to “the lost lives at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Fest.”

As we earlier reported, Travis Scott’s first night of his Astroworld concert in Houston turned into a horrific tragedy over the weekend (November 5) when at least eight people died and hundreds were injured. Eleven people went into cardiac arrest, rushed to the hospital and over 300 festival-goers went to the nearby field hospital.
Travis Scott issued a statement on social media the following morning writing, “I am absolutely devastated by what took place last night. My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival. Houston PD has my total support as they continue to look into the tragic loss of life. I am committed to working together with the Houston community to heal and support the families in need. Thank you to Houston PD, Fire Department and NRG Park for their immediate response and support. Love You All.”
At least three lawsuits have been filed from attendees of the Houston concert, with two of them seeking $1,000,000 in damages. They name Travis Scott, Drake and Live Nation.
Along with West, rapper Roddy Ricch also shared his support for the families impacted by the tragedy. The 23-year-old rapper, who was one of several performers at the music festival announced on Instagram that he will be donating his earnings to victims of the mass casualty event.
“I’ll b donating my net compensation to the families of this incident,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.
