Tyga Turns Himself In Over Alleged Domestic Violence Incident
Tyga has surrendered to LAPD over an alleged domestic violence incident involving his ex-girlfriend Camaryn Swanson. The California rapper has voluntarily turned himself in after an alleged altercation between the former couple early Monday morning, gossip website TMZ reported Tuesday.
TMZ reports that a source close to the rapper said that after the altercation, “Swanson came over to his home around 3 AM after he told her not to, and she was at his front door, shouting at the top of her lungs.” Swanson refutes that she came to his home uninvited and showed the outlet text messages between her and Tyga saying that he sent a car for her.
Tyga and other family members believed that Swanson was under the influence when she came knocking on the door of his home early Monday morning. The rapper let her into the home and the screaming between the two escalated to an alleged physical altercation.
Law enforcement sources told the outlet that Swanson claims, “Tyga put his hands on her during the argument.”
After the argument, Swanson called her mother to pick her up and that’s when she called the authorities to report the incident.
Officers that responded to the incident said that they saw “physical marks” on Swanson and took her into report a felony for domestic violence.
Police came to the rapper’s home Monday but he refused to talk to them; he has since voluntarily turned himself in. The outlet reports there is a felony domestic violence charge on the table.
Tyga and Swanson started dating early in 2021 and is unclear exactly when they broke up. Although, TMZ reported that it was clear that they broke up before Monday morning’s incident.
