Kane Brown Teams With Blackbear for ‘Memory’
Kane Brown’s newest collaboration is with pop producer/songwriter Blackbear, whose real name is Matthew Musto. The song is called “Memory” and it will be released on July 9.
Kane and Blackbear wrote the song with Andrew Goldstein, Joe Kirkland, and Ernest Smith. According to Billboard, “The sauntering midtempo track features Brown first speaking and then singing about living life at top speed and escaping from any pain, concerned that he’s running on empty and proclaiming ‘I don’t want to be a memory,’ before Blackbear takes over similarly expressing the need to find a way to manage the crazy train.”
Kane has been teasing the new song on his socials. Yesterday he posted to Twitter, “@iamblackbear you ready? Fire 7/9/21 #MemoryKBxBB.”
