Angelina Jolie: Prepared To Show Proof Of Abuse In Divorce With Brad Pitt – Report
Angelina Jolie is prepared to provide proof and authority of in support of alleged domestic violence in her divorce battle with Brad Pitt, according to British gossip publication The Daily Mail (which often published rumors and gossip).
Documents reportedly show 45-year-old Jolie has stated she is willing to offer “proof and authority” to back her claims of domestic violence that occurred during her two year marriage to the 57-year-old Pitt, Daily Mail reports.
The couple share kids, 19-year-old Maddox, 17-year-old Pax, 16-year-old Zahara, 14-year-old Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12. Their youngest children Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne may provide testimony if they are given permission.
A list of witnesses filed in a Los Angeles court reveal that 21 people will be testifying in the Jolie-Pitt legal fight over their children. (Maddox is excluded because he is legally an adult)
Per the Daily Mail, soon after the couple filed for divorce in 2016, it was revealed that Pitt was investigated by the FBI and social services in Los Angeles amid reports he got “verbally abusive and physical with his children” on a private jet. He was later cleared of the abuse allegations by the LA County Department Of Children And Family Services.
Pitt and Jolie famously began their relationship on the set of 2005’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith, while Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston. The couple married in 2014 after 10 years of dating, but split two years later.
Following their initial separation, the pair fought about custody and financial arrangements, with Pitt arguing he has provided more than adequate funding but Jolie demanded more from his fortune to support the family.
In June 2019 Pitt admitted he was an alcoholic at the time of their split, but has since recovered.
