Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion To Give Away $1 Million to ‘Powerful Women’
Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are giving away big bucks! On Wed (Aug. 19), Cardi B took to Twitter to announce that she and Megan are partnering with Twitter and Cash App to give away $1 million dollars to women.
“Y’all made ‘WAP’ amazing! We’re partnering with Twitter and Cash App to give away a total of $1 million dollars to celebrate all you powerful women out there,” Cardi tweeted. “Tell us why you or a woman you know can use a piece of the $.” She then told her fans to “drop your $cashtag and use #WAPParty,” and the entries have begun.

In addition to giving away money, the Bronx rapper also dropped a myriad of “WAP” merchandise on her website from hoodies to umbrellas to raincoats. “My official WAP Merch collection is available NOW! ” the “Money” rapper wrote on Instagram.
As we previously reported, Cardi B‘s hit single “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion recently made ‘herstory.’ The controversial single officially debuted at No. 1 on this week’s Hot 100 Billboard chart. Cardi took to Instagram to share the news with her fans. “Number f—in one !!!!!NUMBER 1 !!!” Cardi B wrote in the caption of the video she shared.
“Thank you soo much [Megan Thee Stallion]. I don’t even know how to thank you, I wish I can give you a big ass hug !!! Thank you to my fans Megan fans, Thank you the world for listening.I’m just soooo thankful I can’t even type it. Imma get like a bad b—- and tell ya later.Love ya WAAAAAAAPP.”
To celebrate making herstory, Cardi B also gifted Megan Thee Stallion a Birkin bag, as we previously reported. On Tuesday (Aug. 17), Meg took to Instagram to show off the tangerine-colored Hermes bag that Cardi gifted her. “My manager just walked in and said Cardi sent you something,” Hot Girl Meg wrote. “not the birkinnnnnnnn.”
“Thank you frennn omg I can’t believe you,” Megan continued. “I wonder what I’m gonna get her.” In the video, Megan, who was off-camera said, “I know you f—ing lying. Girl. B—! Not the Birkin! Not the Houston Birkin! Wow! I’m dead. Damn. Oh my God.”
The Birkin has the white tiger that was in Megan’s scene from the video for “WAP” painted on it. It also had splashes of water on it along with Megan painted on the front. The sides of the purse had multicolored money signs painted on it and the back had Houston’s skyline painted on it along with “Be someone.” “Thank you, Meg, I really appreciate you!” Cardi B signed on the bottom of the purées along with a pink heart.
