David Guetta’s George Floyd Tribute Is Getting Heavily Mocked Online
Like many celebrities, David Guetta is doing his part to honor the murder of George Floyd. Unfortunately, the way he chose to go about it has many people scratching their heads.
According to the New York Post, the DJ hosted a livestream fundraiser to raise money for coronavirus relief efforts. During, he playing an EDM remix of Martin Luther King’s “I Have A Dream” speech.
While playing the tune, he stated, “The world is going through difficult times and America, too, actually. Last night, I knew we were going to do this and I made a special record … in honor of George Floyd. I really hope we can see more unity and more peace when already things are so difficult.”

Unfortunately, his efforts fell flat, and many are reacting to it online. One Twitter user wrote, “Going up to the big sign that says days without white people embarrassing me 0 and replacing the 0 with a bigger 0,” while another added, “Dude’s trying to remix racism away.” See some of the most entertaining reactions below.
