Chris Brown & T-Pain Tease New Single
Chris Brown and T-Pain have a new collaboration coming soon. On Thursday (Apr. 2), T-Pain teased a snippet of an unspecified track during his Instagram Live session.
In the teaser, the former collaborators are singing over an acoustic R&B melody. The song is a bit reminiscent of the duo’s early hits from the 2000s.
“Baby, just tell me you’re gonna love me and I’ll admit defeat / It ain’t that deep / You know I’d kill for some of your real feelings,” T-Pain sings on the teaser before Brown sings.
“Oh my gosh, you tryna kill me in my sleep / Rough sex makin’ you my enemy,” he sings. “Can I be honest, baby? / I kinda like the fact that you kinda crazy / Yeah, you bipolar just like me / That ain’t a problem, baby.”
As of now, it’s unclear when the full single will be released. However, Brown hinted that the song could be released before the summer.“YALL THINK WE WONT GONE [expletive] SOME [expletive] UP BEFORE SUMMER,” Brown commented.
Brown and T-Pain have collaborated on a myriad of tracks over the years including “Best Love Song,” “Freeze,” “Classic You,” and “Kiss Kiss.” In 2011, during an interview with Rap-Up, T-Pain shared a few details regarding his relationship with Brown.
“I think my relationship with Chris is better than anybody else,” T-Pain said. “I don’t think I chill or bond with any other artist like that.”
