Ari Lennox Freaks Out After Lakeith Stanfield Asks Her On a Date On Instagram Live
Ari Lennox was recently on Instagram Live talking to her fans about how “exceedingly non-existent” her love life is. The “Bussit” singer recalled a time when she went to the movie theatre solo to see Issa Rae and Lakeith Stanfield’s latest film The Photograph.
Lakeith was in the Instagram Live chat with the Dreamville artist, and he thanked Lennox for her words about the movie. While recalling her experience watching the movie, Stanfield asked Lennox out on a date.
“I was in the theaters by myself in a hoodie just looking pitiful. No date. Nothing,” Lennox explained. “Just sitting there shedding tears, thinking of my gotdamn love life and how it’s just exceedingly nonexistent. And how it’s just a gotdamn mess.”
Actor Lakeith Stanfield wrote in Lennox’s comment section, “Can you be my date? Let’s go.”
“Lakeith, I don’t have time for this right now. Wait, You’re joking?” Lennox replied. “I don’t. No, we’re changing the subject because I heard some things,” before getting up and walking to another place in her room.
She then changed the subject by telling her fans about how she’s started a studio. Check out the clip, below.
