Niecy Nash’s Divorce Is Final With Ex-Husband Jay Tucker
Actress Niecy Nash has settled her divorce with her ex-husband Jay Tucker, as The Blast reports. Nash and Tucker have hashed out their property settlement and divided up their assets, according to court documents.
Nash was awarded their home in Bell Canyon, California, a 2016 Tesla, as well as her production company, Chocolate Chick. Tucker was awarded a 2011 Ford F-150, and his portion from a real estate sale, $184, 820.
Neither Nash nor Tucker will be paid spousal support, they both are allowed to keep all of their earnings before their official separation date of June 1, 2019. The two will be officially single by law on June 21.
Last November, Nash and Tucker announced that they were separating in a joint statement via social media. The statement read, “We believe in the beauty of truth. Always have. Our truth is that in this season of our lives, we are better friends than partners in marriage. Our union was such a gorgeous ride. And as we go our separate ways now, we feel fortunate for the love we share – present tense. Thank you all out there for your support of us as a couple over the last eight years. We are grateful.”
