Alicia Keys Pushes ‘ALICIA’ Album Release Date Back
Alicia Keys fans are going to have to wait a bit longer for the Grammy Award-winning singer’s new forthcoming album, ALICIA. The album — Keys’ seventh — has been delayed by two months, as Rap-Up reports.
ALICIA was originally slated to be released on March 20. However, Keys’ fans noticed that streaming services, including Apple Music and Amazon now have the singer’s album listed with a May 15 release date.

The 15-track album is the follow up to 2016’s Here and includes Keys’ singles “Show Me Love,” “Time Machine,” and “Underdog.”
“The ALICIA album is sooooo crazzzyyyyy!!!! I’m so excited for you to hear it,” Keys previously said of the album. “I love all the sides of it. I love all the sides of me/us it reflects, I love how much closer I am to myself. How much more willing I am to get familiar with myself. I never realized how much I relied on only one side. How much I had hidden away the parts that expressed anger, rage, sensuality, or vulnerability.”
Once ALICIA does drop Keys will be trekking the globe on her first tour in seven years, ALICIA- The World Tour. The European leg of Keys’ tour begins on June 5 in Dublin. The North American leg of the tour kicks off on July 28 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Although fans have to now wait until May for the 15-time Grammy winner’s album to drop, Keys will be releasing her new memoir More Myself: A Journey on March 31.
“I’ve been loving getting to know all the sides of me over the years. And now here I am fully ALICIA,” Keys said. “The journey we will take together through the music and then in another way through my book More Myself. I see them as companion pieces. A way to go even deeper into the conversation of identity together.”
In support of her memoir, Keys will launch a four-date tour, making stops in Brooklyn (March 31), Atlanta (April 5), Chicago (April 6), and Los Angeles (April 7).
