Mya Confirms She’s Married, And Releases A New Video Regarding ‘The Truth’
As we reported yesterday, rumors were going around that Mya got married in a secret ceremony a few months ago. According to TMZ, the singer was wed in Seychelles, and it was unclear who the spouse was. Now it appears as if Mya is kind of confirming the rumors to be true.
She posted a photo on Instagram with the caption “Thank you for all of the beautiful messages & happy V-day. ~ Officially, Mrs. Lansky.” She also made another post with the link and information about a new video for her song “The Truth.” This was on her Love Elevation Suite EP in 2015.
In the video, Mya appears to be getting ready for a wedding day. It shows her putting makeup on, walking along the beach, and shows someone conducting the ceremony. During the nuptials, it appears to show two different versions of the singer as if she is marrying herself and possibly promoting self-love. In the comments, fans are trying to decipher the meaning of the video. One wrote, “Married with yourself before to love someone else. I’m my own Valentine,” while another adds, “I’m so lost so is she really married or is she marrying herself because huh. Ik On Instagram she was like mrs. Lansky.”
