Singer Summer Walker has a new hairstyle, and it’s sent some of her fans into a frenzy. The “Girls Need Love” singer recently took to her Instagram story and showed off her new haircut.
In the Instagram story, Walker revealed that she had shaven her entire head. She also informed her fans that it was the eleventh time that the singer had done so.
The Shade Room shared Walker’s post, and it received some negative feedback. “She shaved the dome before the armpits, ” one guy commented on the post. “Bro Wildin,” another person commented, referring to Walker as a male.
Some fans attempted to counteract the negative feedback that Walker received while also defending her and women in general. “Why when a woman cuts her hair off she has to be “going thru it” or “whyyyy”? It’s just hair. It’s grows back. Maybe she’s not a fan of long hair. Maybe she feels more beautiful without hair. Some women feel empowered by going bald. She still bad af,” one woman commented.
