LISTEN & WATCH: DaBaby Releases New Single and Video ‘Shut Up’
DaBaby has just released a new single and video titled “Shut Up.”
The video begins with DaBaby addressing his 2020 plans. “I was gonna wait till Valentine’s Day and be player about it but [expletive] it, I’ma go head and let you know now…you’re mine for the next 10 months and 22 days,” DaBaby says.
The Grammy-nominated rapper then documents his experience during Super Bowl weekend in Miami and shows himself picking up checks from the money he made performing, followed by a stop at Diddy’s house. “I feel like this is a celebration. I feel like you made it,” Diddy tells DaBaby.
DaBaby also connects with Kanye West, Teyana Taylor, Shaq, and Meek Mill in the video. On “Shut Up” DaBaby also addresses the hotel employee who tried to film him while he was with his daughter. “You lookin’ for a lawsuit / Pullin’ out your camera / Didn’t think I saw you,” DaBaby raps. He also addressed those who criticized him for how he handled the situation.
“I’m the best [expletive] around / No, you not / All your [expletive] sounds the same,” he raps. DaBaby then concludes the video to “Shut Up” by asking his fans for forgiveness. “Forgive me for being a human and not a machine.” Check out the video for”Shut Up” below.
