Usher’s Prince Tribute At The 2020 Grammys Featuring FKA Twigs
Usher showed up ready to show out for the Grammys tribute to Prince. With Sheila E. behind him on percussion, Usher performed a medley of Prince’s songs including “Little Red Corvette” and “When Doves Cry.”
While Usher showed off some signature Prince dance moves, it was FKA Twigs who had him beat, contorting herself around him for her “Kiss” entrance. During their dance break, Chrissy Teigen gave them both her seal of approval. Honestly, it was hard not to get down with Usher’s falsetto during that sexy 1986 track.
Usher’s female backup dancers also brought a bit of sex appeal to the number that had many on Twitter saying Prince would be proud. It almost makes you wish Usher got a chance to perform a few more of the Purple One’s hits.
