Jennifer Lopez And Eddie Murphy Top Vanity Fair’s ‘Hollywood Issue’
On the heels of the Academy Award nominations reveal, Vanity Fair has released its 2020 The Hollywood Issue. In the “Road to Hollywood” photo portfolio and article, the magazine celebrates 23 of the current biggest stars, including cover models Jennifer Lopez, Eddie Murphy, and Renee Zellweger. Also honored in the issue is Florence Pugh, Taika Waititi, Daniel Kaluuya, Margaret Qualley, Awkwafina, Lily-Rose Depp, Laura Dern, Willem Dafoe, Jennifer Hudson, Alfre Woodard, Roman Griffin Davis, Noah Jupe, Oakes Fegley, Da’vine Joy, Lili Reinsert, Park So dam, Taylor Russell, Antonio Banderas, Austin Butler, and Beanie Feldstein.
One the three cover models, Vanity Fair talks about their achievements, saying, “It doesn’t seem coincidental that in 2019, all three actors gave benchmark performances not only playing real people, but playing real people who themselves are performers, who understand the liberation of transforming oneself into someone else and of inhabiting an invented persona, but who also get what hard work it is. They’ve been there. They’ve sweated it. They have more than earned this moment.”
