50 Cent Wants Teairra Mari’s ‘Love and Hip Hop’ Checks To Pay $30K Debt
The saga continues between 50 Cent and Teairra Mari. 50 Cent wants the “Sponsor” singer’s Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood checks to be used to pay her $30,000 debt, as The Blast reports.
“To date, Mari has failed to pay a single dime to Jackson in satisfaction of the Judgment despite earning over $100,000 this past year. Her previous claims under oath that she is “broke” no longer ring true, and it is more clear than ever that she has no intention of paying her debts,” 50 Cent said.
50 Cent claims that the singer is trying to “actively conceal her assets and prevent” him from collecting the debt. He also says that Teairra Mari told him that she earned $100,000 for her role on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood in 2019. However, the reality TV star hasn’t informed the rapper of her entire income.
50 is asking for a judge to order Mari to pay him an additional $5,295.50 and he also wants Mari to be ordered to issue him additional financial records.
50 Cent and Teairra Mari’s rivalry has been ongoing since 2018 after 50 Cent re-posted explicit photos and videos of the singer on his Instagram page. Mari’s ex-boyfriend, Akbar Abdul-Ahad had originally posted the nude photos. Teairra Mari took 50 Cent to court to sue him for revenge porn. However, the singer’s case was thrown out by the judge and Mari was ordered to pay over $30,000 for 50 Cent’s legal fees.
