On Friday (Nov. 22), Ciara surprised her fans by dropping a new single titled “Melanin” that features Lupita Nyong’o, City Girls, Ester Dean, and LaLa.
“Hooked up with my girls [Lupita Nyong’O, Ester Dean, JT, Yung Miami, City Girls, and La La] to celebrate all my #Melanin Queens around the world,” Ciara wrote in the caption of her Instagram post where she announced the song. “This song is for you! Produced by my girl Ester! Yes, Queen!”
