Shawn Mendes Breaks Male Pop Song Record

With the success of “Senorita,” Shawn Mendes has officially broken a Billboard record for most Adult Pop Songs No.1s by a solo male. The record was previously held by Ed Sheeran with five.
According to Billboard, Camila Cabello, his partner of the song, lands her third Adult Pop Song No.1. Other acts on the list for Adult Pop songs include Maroon 5 will thirteen No. 1s, Pink with ten, Katy Perry with eight, Taylor Swift with seven, an Adele and Nickelback each have five.
The other five Mendes songs that have topped the chart include, “Treat You Better,” “Stitches,” “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back,” “In My Blood,” “If I Can Have You.”
