Taylor Swift Still Can’t Believe She’s Playing A Cat In ‘Cats’ — WATCH
Everybody wants to be a cat, but it’s harder than you think. Just ask Taylor Swift. In a new behind-the-scenes featurette for the film adaptation of Cats, Swift lets fans in on what it was like to play a feline.
In the video, Swift admits, at first, this role really was a headscratcher for her. “If you told me I was going to get to be a cat for work,” she said in the opening moments of the featurette. “What?” Her co-star James Corden agreed that the idea of humans playing cats is very weird. “If you say it out loud,” he tells the camera. “it’s bonkers.”
But the cat mom to Olivia Benson, Meredith Grey, and Benjamin Button was able to find her inner kitty. This video even shows her showing off her best cat poses a sign that she really is a purrfect Jellicle cat.
