Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS Shapewear Makes Her Millions in Minutes
Apparently, everything a Kardashian or Jenner touches turns to gold. TMZ is reporting that within minutes of launching her SKIMS shapewear yesterday (Sept 10), Kim Kardashian made millions of dollars. They add that almost every piece of inventory sold out within that small timeframe.
To compare, it took Spanx shapewear an entire year to make $4 million in profits.
There was so much traffic to the website that at one point the site crashed and customers weren’t able to shop for about an hour.
Kim went on Instagram earlier today to thank all her fans for supporting SKIMS. She also added that her team was working on getting back on track. “Out teams are working overtime to get everything restocked ASAP and my goal is to get our business to a point where we can make my shapewear and essential underwear items available and accessible always.”
