Cardi B And Offset Throw Major Party For Daughter’s First Birthday
New York City’s blackout didn’t stop Cardi B and Offset’s daughter’s first birthday party from being a “lituation.”
On Saturday (July 13), Cardi and Offset celebrated their daughter, Kulture’s first birthday with a major celebration in New York City.
The blowout bash that the married hip-hop couple threw reportedly cost $400,000, and was themed after the birthday girl’s favorite TV show, “Word Party,” reports Rap-Up.

The fete featured two multi-teared birthday cakes, a myriad of desserts, a Build-a-Bear workshop, rainbow balloons, and floral arrangements that cost $7,000.
Guest busted moves on the dance floor and turned up to the hit children’s song “Baby Shark” and even City Girls.

Cardi B’s sister, Hennessy, her parents, and grandparents were among those who attended the party for Kulture.

At some point during the party, NYC suffered a huge power outage that lasted several hours. However, although the lights and music went out, the party continued.
Cardi B took to Instagram to thank everyone for making the party “lit” in spite of having to party in the dark.
“It was so lit that I lost my motherf**king nail,” the “Money” rapper said. “Let me tell y’all something, y’all made it lit was the fact that I had got there, the lights went off in the party, it was like a whole hour with no lights, no music. But it was…lit!”
“And then when we got the power…turned the music and some lights on, it got lit again,” Cardi continued.
“But with no air conditioner. So we was literally melting, but people were still dancing, having fun. And then the lights came completely back on. But then they came right back off when we was about to cut the cake. And then they cut the lights back on and nobody wanted to leave. And it’s ’cause of y’all and it was such a fun party. Thank you so much.”

The Grammy Award-winning artist continued her video message by stating that a “negative situation” turned into a “LITUATION.”
Cardi also said that she had so much fun and so did the birthday girl.
“Thank ya sooo much everybody that came, I know my daughter won’t remember this day but when she older and have her kids this will be a good story to tell lols. I will be daydream this day for ma long,” Cardi concluded.
In addition to receiving tons of support via attendance at her first birthday party, Kulture also received a slew of gifts including, a $100,000 diamond necklace from her parents, which featured the animated characters from “Word Party.”
