The Jonas Brothers Drop ‘Happiness Begins,’ Their First Album in 10 Years
It’s been a long road for the Jonas Brothers, who are back and better than ever.
The group just dropped their highly-anticipated Happiness Begins album, their first in 10 years. Their last album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times came out in the summer of 2009.
Fans have always been passionate about the group, made up of brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick, who hail from New Jersey. As proof, Nick shared a throwback video of the group hitting a record in the Garden State after the drop of their 2009 album.
This was ten years ago almost to the day, and today my brothers and I have released our new album #happinessbegins thank you to everyone who stood by us every step of the way. We love you. This is for you.https://t.co/a0fbpJuNo0 pic.twitter.com/AWtY2R52UU

But after years of tension split them apart, the group endured a very publicized breakup, where the guys wondered if they would ever even speak again. Next came a flood of solo projects — singles like “Chains,” from Nick, “Cake by the Ocean,” from Joe with his band DNCE and a reality show for Kevin and his wife and children.
But after six years apart, the group made the decision to reunite. Since announcing it back in February, it’s been a whirlwind of successful moves, like their Number One hit “Sucker,” and the debut of their Amazon Prime documentary, “Chasing Happiness.”
The guys have also made a number of high-profile appearances with their very famous spouses, actress Priyanka Chopra-Jonas (married to Nick,) Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner (married to Joe) and reality star Danielle Jonas (married to Kevin).
With the release of Happiness Begins, the guys are well on their way to becoming one of the most successful boy band comeback stories in history. While most official reviews have yet to be released, the Independent calls the album one of the “best pop albums” of 2019, while Billboard describes it as the album that “everyone’s talking about.”
Next up for the JoBros is their Happiness Begins tour, which kicks off in August.
