Chrissy Teigen's recent comments about her weight gain after having a baby are the perfect reminder of why she is the Internet's collective best friend.
The former Sports Illustrated model was candid about her "new normal" after giving birth to 2 children on Twitter.
"[H]ow do you eat like this??" - basically I am 20 pounds heavier than I was before Miles," she wrote. "He's 10 months old, I never lost the last bit because I just love food too much. Just coming to terms with my new normal, when I had this certain number for so long!"
The lifestyle guru also added that she was the thinnest after giving birth to daughter Luna, but it was due to her postpartum depression. Now, she's happier than ever and at peace with her new body as a result.
"I'll take these pounds and this feeling," she said.
Teigen recently shared how becoming a mom to her two children with John Legend helped her become more at peace with herself and her body.
"Honestly, I was so stuck on the scale game," Teigen said of her past. "Like, I was the kind of person that was, you know, pre-baby, I weighed myself like three times a day. I knew how much I weighed at 8 a.m., and I knew how much I was supposed to weigh at 1 p.m., and I knew how much I was supposed to weigh at 8 p.m."
"I feel completely at food peace right now -- having a baby has given me this weird confidence," she said.
