Police Make Arrest In Hania Augilar Murder Case
A man is behind bars for the rape and murder of Hania Augilar.
You may recall, the 13-year-old was abducted from the front yard of her Lumberton home last month.
Now, police have charged Michel Ray McLellan with 10 crimes related to this case. These charges range from rape, kidnapping, and concealing a death.
According to the Fayetteville Observer, McLellan was already in police custody for another kidnapping when he was linked to the case.
At this time, it is not clear if he confessed to Augilar’s murder or if police had evidence to link him to the case.
McLellan is at the Robeson County Jail and will face a judge on Monday.
