Jessica Simpson Is Extremely Disappointed In Natalie Portman Right Now
There’s a new feud brewing in celebville, and this time, it’s between two unlikely actresses.
Jessica Simpson and Natalie Portman usually keep low profiles and rarely are the center of drama, but it sounds like that’s about to change.
During a recent interview, Portman said that she remembers being confused when she was younger after seeing Simpson in a revealing bathing suit. At the time, Simpson was doing a photoshoot for the cover of a magazine.
The confusion stems from Simpson being a virgin at the time. As Natalie tells it, the cover photo sent mixed messages.
A short time ago, Jessica issued a statement on her Instagram account voicing her disappointment in Portman.
From Jessica’s perspective, she feels Natalie should be aware that just because Jessica may have been perceived one way, that most certainly was in part as a result of her marketing team.
Regardless, Jessica has always supported however other women express themselves — Whether that’s in a bikini or a fur coat. In her mind, Natalie negatively mentioning a magazine cover from 1999 was unwarranted and downright hurtful.
As of this posting, Natalie has not responded.
