Another Member Of Fifth Harmony Signs A Solo Record Deal
So, will they be changing their name to Third Harmony, or what?
According to Billboard, Dinah Jane of Fifth Harmony has signed a solo record deal with L.A. Reid‘s Hitco label.
Looking at the list of collaborations and rumors of solo work within the girl group, it’s no surprise that all of them seem to be verging in different directions.
Billboard‘s report shares that “Lauren Jauregui has teased a forthcoming solo album, while releasing collaborations with Halsey (“Strangers”), Steve Aoki (“All Night”) and Marian Hill (“Back to Me”); and Ally Brooke is also working on a debut album to be released with Atlantic Records and Latium Entertainment, a joint venture with Sony/ATV Music Publishing.”
Jane was featured on the track “Boom Boom” with Daddy Yankee, RedOne and French Montana, which if we follow Camila Cabello‘s pathway to solo-dom, that’s how it starts.
There is no word that the group is planning to disband, but we’ve seen this before with One Direction, so we can’t say we’re surprised bt the news.
