Missing Infant From Virginia Has Been Located In North Carolina
The search is over for a missing seven-month-old who was abducted on Sunday by her father in Virginia.
The child, identified as Emma Grace Kennedy, was taken by Carl Ray Kennedy, after he assaulted and threatened Emma’s mother with a knife.
It was believed the child was in danger, as Carl does not have custody of the infant.
According to WIS 10, authorities located the man and child in North Carolina today.
Emma was transported to a nearby hospital. It is not believed the child was injured during the ordeal.
After the infant was reported missing, a massive manhunt ensued in both Virginia and North Carolina.
Authorities took Carl into custody today near Randleman.
