A Soldier Has Been Arrested After A Toddler Was Shot In Fayetteville
A three-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital last night after being shot at an apartment in Fayetteville.
According to WRAL, the incident occurred at an apartment complex on Lake Pine Drive and involved a 45 caliber handgun.
The little boy who was shot was not in the same apartment when the gun went off, rather he was in an adjoining apartment.

Immediately following the shooting, the toddler was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. The injuries he sustained from the shooting are not believed to be life threatening.
22-year-old Brian Michael Cavalier was arrested this morning. He is a soldier with the Army, but it is not known at this time if he is stationed at Fort Bragg.
