North Carolina Teacher Attacked At Nearby Elementary School
A local teacher was attacked on Monday evening at a nearby elementary school.
According to ABC 11, authorities in Hoke County were dispatched to West Hoke Elementary School shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Monday — Amid reports of an attack.
Upon arrival, they found a female teacher who was suffering from injuries to her upper body, including her face.
Prior to the attack, an unidentified male entered the school and asked to speak to someone no longer employed there.
Moments later, the man attacked the female teacher with some sort of object.
Her injuries are believed to be serious in nature.
Medics arrived on scene moments later and transported the woman to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
At this time, the suspect remains at large. Witnesses say he is a slim, black male with facial hair — Most likely in his 30s.
