Cumberland HealthNET is a non-profit organization providing access to healthcare for the needy and underserved in our county and nearby areas. It provides a necessary catch-basket for citizens caught economically between low income and medicare or medicaid eligibility.
One of the newest developments is inclusion in an American-Rescue-Plan-grant-funded “Sandhills Vax” program – designed to remove barriers for vaccination of underserved area neighborhoods and populations.
Executive Director Tasha Smith, Project Manager Shelley Hudson and Project Director Nathan Church joined us on Talkback to discuss this initiative!
