25) Stephen Kurkjian, Pulitzer Prize Winning Investigative Journalist
I know what you must be thinking and yes, we are related. Stephen Kurkjian’s grandfather and my dad’s grandfather were brothers (I guess the journalism thing runs in the family).
Stephen Kurkjian is a founding member of the Spotlight Team which started at The Boston Globe back in 1970 which famously investiaged the clergy abuse scandal within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston. Their story was later told in the movie Spotlight.
Also, Kurkjian is featured in the Netflix documentary This Is a Robbery: The World’s Biggest Art Heist. He wrote a book concerning the 1990 robbery of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum called “Master Thieves” that was published in 2015.
