The Carolina Civic Center and Historic Theater will present its 14th Annual Robeson County Christmas Show from Dec. 5 through Dec. 13. This production marks the first time attendees can visit the new Annex Expansion.
Dance performances by the Civettes will fill the stage. Ensemble acts take turns throughout the run. Projection effects add visual depth. Frosty the Snowman shows up. The Grinch appears. Santa Claus makes his rounds during performances.
The expanded lobby opens to visitors this season for the first time. Sweet Relief Bakery will sell pastries and hot chocolate in this space. Photorad Photography will be on site for photo opportunities.
The expansion brings the Carolina Ballroom, which was built for weddings, conferences, and private gatherings of all sizes. On Dec. 13, the Robeson County Arts Council will hold its "Warmth of Winter" artist craft sale inside the ballroom, where local artists will sell handmade gifts and crafts.
Tickets cost $30 for adults. Seniors age 60 and older pay $27. Military members pay $27. Students pay $15. Groups of 10 or more can buy advance tickets at $25 each through the box office.
Season ticket buyers get a 20% discount when purchasing all six events. Guests can buy tickets through the box office, though the venue warns against third-party resellers and asks buyers to purchase through the box office, etix.com, or CarolinaCivicCenter.com.
