Julia Fox Is Thinking About Dating Women: ‘I Have A Gay Bone’
Julia Fox is “thinking” about dating women in order to “explore” her sexuality. She made this revelation in an upcoming episode of Ziwe. The Uncut Gems actress revealed that she is currently single because she does not want to “waste my time.” In a preview clip shared by host Ziwe Fumudoh on Twitter Wednesday (November 16), Fox, 32, was asked if she had ever dated women. She replied, “I have been thinking about it a lot recently. Because I do think, maybe I have some, you know… I have a gay bone and I need to explore that a little bit more. Like, maybe my ex-boyfriends weren’t wrong when they were calling me a lesbian and complaining that I never wanted to have sex with them.”
Ziwe asked if Fox had any race preferences when it comes to dating. “I can find love in all places, and all races!” Fox said, while looking into the camera with widened eyes. “Not white, first of all. I don’t know, honestly. They’re all, like, are equally horrible, to be honest. All men! It’s just a man thing.”

In another clip that Fox shared on her Instagram Stories, she described her perfect man to be “funny, he’s got to have a good sense of humor — but he can’t be broke, ’cause that’s not funny.”
The actress most recently famously dated Kanye West for about one month; they split up in February after West published several Instagram posts asking his family to get back together and saying he wished his ex-wife Kim Kardashian was with him. In September, Fox opened up about their brief relationship to the Independent and said it “wasn’t sustainable.”
As we previously reported, she told ES Magazine that “real life set in and the lifestyle wasn’t sustainable. I couldn’t fly away once a week. And I tapped out at the first sign of a red flag.” When asked what exactly the red flag with Ye was, Fox said it was “the unresolved issues that he was dealing with. It just seems like he had a lot to work on, and I just don’t have time for it, or energy. I don’t have the bandwidth or emotional capacity for it. I’m proud of myself for that. Pre-Valentino Julia would have definitely stuck it out and been there for longer.”
Prior to that, Fox was married to Peter Artemiev for two years and shares a son, Valentino, with him. The couple married in November 2018 and split up in 2020.
New episodes of Ziwe are set to launch on November 18 on Showtime, Hulu, Amazon Prime and other streamers.
