‘Dune: Part 2’ Now in Production, Set for Release in Nov. 2023
For most big science fiction movie fans, the new “Dune” was an exceptional remake, and left us wanting more, especially after finding out this was only part one of 2!
Great news fans, “Dune: Part 2” two is in production and is scheduled for release in November of 2023. Part 2 will see more Zendaya, worms, witches and wars!
“I just received news from Legendary that we are officially moving forward with Dune: Part Two,” the film’s director, Denis Villeneuve said in a press release. “It was a dream of mine to adapt Frank Herbert’s Dune and I have the fans, the cast, and crew, Legendary and Warner Bros. to thank for supporting this dream. This is only the beginning.”
Will Paul aka “Kwisatz Haderach” take his place as the rightful King of the House of Atreides, and ruler of Dune, and the people of the Fremen? Will his unborn sister become the most powerful “Bene Gesserit” in the universe! And will Chani and Paul finally fall in love. Guess we all find out next November!
According to Legendary Pictures, the film is currently being filmed on location in Budapest, Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Italy.
