Mila Kunis Says Ashton Kutcher Got Pancreatitis Over Steve Jobs Movie
During an appearance on Hot Ones yesterday (October 28), Mila Kunis was asked to fact-check husband Ashton Kutcher’s appearance two years ago.
The Family Guy voice actress recalled how Ashton, 43, ended up in the hospital while prepping to play Steve Jobs in the 2013 film Jobs. Mila admitted Ashton wasn’t telling the full story about his pancreatitis scare.
“He’s downplaying it,” she said. “He was so dumb. He also, I think, only ate grapes at one point. It’s so stupid.”
Mila continued about the method acting mishap. “We ended up in the hospital twice, with pancreatitis,” she noted. “So, fact check: yes, it was really dumb.”
Another fib Ashton told while on the hot wings-eating interview was that he got rid of all his trucker hats and wardrobe from his time on That ’70s Show. This got Mila even more worked up than the pancreatitis fiasco exclaiming, “What are you talking about?! You didn’t get rid of anything?” Looking directly into the camera with eyes widened she continued, “You have plenty of trucker hats and the entire ’70s wardrobe is downstairs. What are you– what is this? Lies. Lies.”

Part of Ashton’s process of getting into the character of Apple’s founder was by taking on his strict fruitarian diet. After consuming massive amounts of carrot juice, Ashton found himself suffering from extreme back pain.
“Two weeks before we started shooting, all of a sudden I had this pain in my back and through the night it got worse and worse and worse and worse,” Ashton previously shared on Hot Ones.
“I ended up in the hospital on the maximum dose of dilaudid because my pancreas was crazy out of whack.”
He continued: “And then I’m getting freaked out, like ‘This is the ghost of Steve Jobs taking over my pancreas,’ and I’m freaking out and it turns out it was the carrot juice causing this crazy pancreatitis.”
