A Ja Rule Fyre Festival Painting Sold For $122,000
It looks like love for Fyre Festival is still alive and well. Per Complex, a Ja Rule Fyre Festival painting recently sold for $122,000 through his NFT venture KickFlip. KickFlip is a company that offers holders of valuable art and up-and-coming artists the opportunity to monetize their work.

The outlet states that the portrait, which is the Fyre Media logo, was created by Tripp Derrick Barnes. And funny enough, it actually once hung in the company’s office in New York.
After the Fire Festival drama, Ja Rule became the painting’s owner but wanted to sell it because he felt it was bad luck. He was once quoted saying, “I just wanted that energy out.”
Also, not only did the winning bidder win the painting, but they also won a note from Ja Rule that reads, “F—- this painting.”
