Mimi Faust & Tamera Young Are Now Engaged
Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star Mimi Faust is now engaged to her longtime girlfriend, WNBA star Tamera Young. Over the weekend, Faust took to Instagram and shared a photo of her and Young’s hands, revealing a new diamond engagement ring. In the photo, Young’s hand also read, “She said YES!!,” in permanent marker.
Young also shared the same photo along with another photo of the two hugging, and few other shots from their engagement. “My beautiful and fine loving Fiancé will be [Forever Young] [Mimi Faust],” Young wrote in the caption of her post while also revealing that she had a few mishaps while trying to plan the engagement for over a year.
“Timing is everything. I’ve been trying to surprise her since August 2019. From ring complications with the first designer and more; we’re finally HERE!!! Thank You [Sneaker World ATL] for helping me since day one. Thank you [Zales Jewelers] for designing the ring exactly how I asked.”
The former Las Vegas Aces small forward, who is currently a free agent also thanked a few other people for making the couple’s night “amazing.” “thank you for an amazing night!!!” she wrote while also insinuating that she was on “Cloud Nine.”
Young also shared a few flicks from their engagement in her Instagram stories. The two have showcased their love for each other on VH1’s Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta, which has been halted since the COVID-19 pandemic. Faust and Young began dating in 2016. Faust was previously dating songwriter and producer Stevie J, who is also featured on LHHA. Faust shares a daughter with Stevie J.
