Ryan Reynolds is using his celebrity for a good cause. The actor retweeted a call to help a Canadian woman find a stolen teddy bear.

Deborah Goble, a reporter for CBS TV and Radio in Vancouver, initially spread the news about the missing item on her page. She wrote, "If you see this missing bear in the west end please email Deborah.Goble@cbc.ca It was in a herschel back pack when stolen along with an iPad. Mara, the owner says it has her mom’s voice inside saying, ‘I love you I’m proud of you, I’ll always be with you.' Her mom died last year."

Ryan then retweeted the information and added a $5000 reward. "Vancouver: $5,000 to anyone who returns this bear to Mara. Zero questions asked. I think we all need this bear to come home," he wrote.

Also, joining in to help with the search is Dan Levy and Zach Braff.

According to CBS News in Canada, other items in Mara Soriano's bag include essential documents, a book of blank checks, her citizenship card, her and her fiancé's passports and social insurance cards, an iPad, and a Nintendo Switch.

As of right now, the bear hasn't been found, but Mara has been updating Twitter users about the search.
