Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back has become the latest classic film to top the box office in the United States thanks in part to special screenings at drive-in theaters.

Per DeadlineStar Wars: The Empire Strikes Back grossed between $400k and $500k this past weekend. It's the first time the film topped the box office since it was brought back to theaters in February 1997.
