“I definitely have thrown it out there,” the singer and actress said. “I don’t know if she comes in Black Panther, but it would be a dream to have her in it."
"I don’t know where they are with that," Monae continued." A lot of women have played Storm and they’ve done an exceptional job, and I would love to be in that line of artists and get to do Storm justice.”
Disney now has a license to incorporate characters from the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises after recently acquiring 20th Century Fox. Black Panther‘s T’Challa and Storm’s Ororo Munroe were childhood friends who eventually parted ways to unite their respective factions in the Marvel Comics universe.
The two were romantically connected and even married at one point. So there might be room for Storm in the forthcoming Black Panther 2.
