Toni Braxton recently enlisted Missy Elliott for the remix of her single "Do It."
"When I needed the HOTTEST feature on the DO IT remix, I knew exactly who to call!" Braxton wrote on Instagram, announcing the release of the single. "MISS-E!!!!" Shoutout to [Missy Elliott]" the R&B veteran continued.
"New Toni Braxton s---, baby!" Elliott shouts at the beginning of the track while Braxton sings "No more wondering why. He ain't calling you back," as if she's having a chat with a close girlfriend who needs frank advice.
"And even God, don't understand why you forgave him so many times/He got you back and forth, and round and round and up and down again. Know you'll never win. You gotta stop pretending," Braxton sings on the mid-tempo track.
"Let him go I gotta do it cause he already done blew it/I just tell him screw it so much s--- he put me through it/Yeah I thought I knew it how I got myself into it," Elliott raps in her verse.
On Sunday (June 28), Braxton took to Instagram to share a video of herself singing the new remix with the track playing in the background. "Stream “DO IT” Remix!" Braxton wrote in the caption of her post.
