Nene Leakes Says Her Relationship With Wendy Williams ‘Has Nothing To Do With’ ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes recently took to social media to talk about the RHOA virtual reunion show, and she stated that although she was asked questions about her relationship with Wendy Williams during the reunion, it “has nothing to do with” the show.
“I was asked questions about me and Wendy Williams’ relationship,” Leakes said in a video. “I really feel like it has nothing to do with the show at all.”
“Wendy and I had a bit of a disagreement recently. She called me on her and show. She called me, ‘that girl over there,'” Leakes continued while making a waving motion with her hands.
“And so they asked me about the situation. I was asked a question about it. And one of the questions that came from one of the girls was, ‘Why didn’t you speak out publicly about that? I feel like your relationship with her is very strategic. You didn’t speak out publicly about that because you like having a relationship with her. She has that platform and you’ll be able to go over there and talk on that platform and you’ll be able to go over there and do this, this, and this.’”
Leakes went on to share that she explained that she doesn’t have a strategic relationship with Williams. “She reached out to me when we weren’t talking, so the relationship isn’t strategic,” Leakes said. “She wanted us to get into a better place.” Watch a clip of the video below.
