Queen + Adam Lambert Postpone Paris Show Due to Coronavirus
Queen + Adam Lambert are the latest act to postpone upcoming performances due to the coronavirus.
The band released the following statement today via their official website:
“Notice to fans that have purchased tickets for Queen + Adam Lambert show Paris AccorHotels Arena on 26th May.
Unfortunately, our show in Paris has had to be postponed following a government decree in France to cancel all indoor events over 5000 capacity in France until 31st May in an effort to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
We are currently working with the promoter to try to reschedule the date. We will make a further announcement at the earliest opportunity.
Please keep hold of your tickets, which would be valid for the new date. Ticket holders will be advised on reimbursement procedure, if required, in due course.
The promoter will be providing updates via their website www.gdp.fr or you may contact promoter via email at info@gdp.fr
No other Queen + Adam Lambert shows have been affected at this time.”
A number of rock tours and other events have either been subject to postponement within the last week. Whitesnake, Slipknot, and Green Day have all postponed upcoming tours in Asia, where the coronavirus first spread, within the past week.
