On Tuesday night (Mar. 3), Dupri tweeted, "One of the things that I notice and learned going to the #makingoftheband tryouts, is that kids are using Auto-Tune so much, the understanding of being tone def is gone and people be singing in all kinda keys." "Lol this is really [an] epidemic," he concluded.
Artists such as T-Pain and Bryson Tiller are known for using Auto-Tune on the majority of their records. "People ask if I’m going to stop using Auto-Tune, but Auto-Tune made me who I am. I’m not going to stop doing something I started," T-Pain told the Chicago Tribune, last March.
