NeNe Leakes Fires Back At Wendy Williams: ‘Private Conversations Should Be Left Private’
NeNe Leakes took to Twitter on Wednesday (Jan. 22) to fire back at Wendy Williams after the talk show host and friend of Leakes announced that the reality TV star was departing from Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Leakes, the self-proclaimed “HBIC” of RHOA took to Twitter and tweeted,” Private conversations should be left in private.”
“What are girlfriends for if you can’t vent to them on those of type of days,” Leakes continued referring to Williams’ previous announcement.

On Tuesday (Jan. 21), Williams surprisingly announced via her talk show that Leakes texted her and said, “I’m quitting.”
Williams broke the news during an interview with a superfan of Bravo, Jerry O’Connell, who was shocked by the announcement.
“I took a break in-between commercials. I had to go to the bathroom, so I looked at my phone in between commercials and NeNe texts, ‘I’m quitting,’” claimed Williams. “9:08 this morning. I’m surprised I got it because I have no service in my office, but I got it.”
“I know something about NeNe that you all will cry, be sad, feel bad for her,” Williams added, “She’s carrying the weight of a huge thing on her shoulders.”
A rep for Leakes refuted Williams’ claims on Tuesday (Jan. 21). “It’s been an especially difficult couple of weeks for Nene, and she was venting to her friend in private correspondence,” Leakes’ rep told Too Fab News. “Nothing has been confirmed or officially decided for next season.”
